Our Team

Eat Play Love is more than just your typical pet shop. We pride ourselves in having a team with a variety of backgrounds who together have a breadth of knowledge about caring for dogs and cats. We follow an evidence-based approach, keeping up-to-date with current research when selecting which products to stock and advising how they should be used. It is important to us that we do more than simply sell products to consumers. We love helping our customers to make more informed decisions about what is best for their pets.

Jenn

Jenn purchased Eat Play Love (formerly The Mutty Professor Shop) from Roz in 2023. She is a research psychologist who has studied health and well-being in humans for the past 10 years. Originally from New York, she moved to the UK to study at the University of Bristol where she obtained a PhD in Nutrition and Behaviour. She started working with Roz in 2021 to rehabilitate her dog, Archie, who had complex behavioural issues. As a result, she became interested in  how behaviour and welfare in dogs and their carers impact one another, and decided to run a shop that sold high-quality, evidence-based products that promote health and well-being in pets.

Roz

Roz, is our resident clinical behaviourist. She started the shop in 2013 and then sold it to Jenn 10 years later. Roz and her team offer a range of services, from one-to-one behaviour work to webinars and handouts. Check out her website to see all that The Mutty Professor has to offer.
